This dynamic program for 3rd-5th grade boys goes beyond the run, blending exciting games, positive mentorship, impactful character talks, engaging activities, and a hands-on community project. We're on a mission to empower boys to grow into young men of strong integrity and outstanding character!
What is True North?
That sweet spot where boys make choices rooted in kindness, compassion, and good character. Our program empowers boys to unlock their limitless potential and become the best version of themselves.
How It Works
Twice a week after school, our trained volunteer coaches guide teams of 8-17 boys (typically from the same school) through engaging 90-minute sessions. Each True North session blends practical character education with fun, inclusive running workouts designed for all abilities. Together, boys complete a meaningful community service project, learning the power of giving back, The season culminates in an inspiring 5K celebration, where crossing the finish lie becomes a powerful lesson in conquering challenges and realizing their potential. It's more than a run - it's the beginning of believing they can do anything!
